WCHS Featured Wrestler of the Week
C.J. Thacker- Freshman
CJ Thacker is the son of Shawn and Tera Wold. His siblings are Robert, Jed, Bryce, and Lane. CJ Competes in ND High School Rodeo. His favorite wrestling move is the Fireman's Carry. The Rumble on the Red has been his favorite tournament to compete at. CJ's favorite practice partner is Liam Shannon. Cale Schalesky from Hettinger/Scranton is the toughest opponent that CJ has wrestled against. When he is not wrestling, his favorite hobby is bull riding. Gym and Math are CJ's favorite classes in school. Mr. Gumke probably has a lot to do with him choosing math as a favorite subject since CJ lists Mr. Gumke as his favorite teacher. When asked what his favorite food is, CJ replied "All of it!"

The Wolves have a full schedule for the coming week. On Tuesday night they will host their first home event of the season when the New Town Eagles and Sidney Eagles come to townf or a Triangular. On Friday the Wolves travel to Dickinson for the Dickinson Classic Tournament. They will compete in Duals on Friday and take part in an individual torunament on Saturday. The Dickinson Tournament generally features teams from Class "A" and "B" in North Dakota as well as teams from Montana and South Dakota. There is a full JV Portion of the tournament as well. The Junior High wrestlers will travel to Minot on Saturday to take part in the Junior High State Tournament.
